The basics of the system
are concealed below the bath and act as a normal waste and overflow.
Only the overflow cover
and the waste plug are visible as normal. The overflow cover is very slightly
larger than a conventional pop up waste handle, and the water flows into
the bath through a jet in the underside.
The water flow and
temperature can be controlled by means of a wall mounted thermostat like
this one from the Talis range. It is then possible to include a diverter
valve and a shower set.
Water flow can also be controlled
by means of a pair of simple valves, one for hot and one for cold. These
could also be used with a diverter valve to supply a shower, but will
not permit thermostatic temperature control.
