Wall
mounted bathroom shelves divide into two basic types. The straight shelf
as seen above left, or the corner shelf as seen above right. These pictures
show shelves from the Inda Logic collection which are a good illustration
of the modern trend towards a glass shelf with a metal wall fixing.
The Logic range, as you can see, have a chrome strip along the front
edge of the glass which stops items from falling off. Most glass shelves
are of a similar basic design to these, but with the shape of the wall
fixing being designed to match the other elements in the particular
range. |

This picture shows
clearly how the Cubis
shelf is designed with a wall mounting which will match the other items
in the Cubis collection. |

This shelf from the
Kingston collection is a good example of a moe traditional style. The
shelf has rounded ends and a chrome gallery rail mounted on the edge. |
From the Carlton
range, this corner shelf also has agallery rail, but the style is not
so traditional. Note also that the shelf is frosted glass. |

A variation on the wall mounted shelf is this design which offers swivel glass shelves mounted on a vertical column. These are available with 1,2 or 3 shelves and also in combnation units like the model below which has a mirror and a tumbler fitted.

Glass shelf units
can also be free standing. This one from the Valsan collection features
a chrome frame with 3 glass shelves. The top shelf has a small gallery
rail, but the lower two are open. This style of shelf unit is available
in different sizes from other manufacturers. |
